WebJan 18, 2024 · Taccom makes fine stuff. My experience is that the barrel does not play a big factor in reliability or SV vs HV. This is correct. Barrel isnt the main issue in this type of system. Not like gas system length and port size in AR. 10/22 much more dependent on rcvrs components than barrel... Some chassis like the deep six from enoch are meant for suppressor use as well, should you choose a short barrel. WebJul 23, 2024 · I built a lightweight 5# PCC for my grandaughter using a Taccom ULW 5" barrel complete upper with the shroud. It was before the super feed and so I used a Taccom feed ramp. Gun ran anything and was 99.9% reliable. She ran about 20K rounds thru it over 2 years and I sold it to a buddy who has run another 10K at least.
WebNov 22, 2024 · ULW is superb in a situation where it’s one shot followed by a transition… and/or you want to use a common load between handguns and the PCC. The über lightweight profile is a disadvantage in any sport that needs 2 rounds on a target. Expand +1. I'll also add that switching to the Briley Raptor barrel made the gun balance better.
