WebWe report a self-calibrating polarization analyzer fabricated with binary magneto-optic polarization rotators. The device automatically overcomes wavelength and temperature dependent inaccuracies and has impressive state of polarization and degree of polarization accuracies of 0.3 degrees and +/-0.5%, respectively, from 1460 to 1580 nm. WebSep 13, 2024 · In this paper, we present a PSG self-calibration method in the compact MMP based on binary MO polarization rotators. Since PSG can generate enough numbers of non-degenerate polarization states, the optical parameters in PSG and the Mueller matrix of the sample can totally be numerically solved, which realizes a self-calibration in the PSG. Weband the most time-e cient method for accurately measuring the polarization state of incident light. The self-calibration methods devised and characterized using primarily a linearly polarized calibration light source are entirely in situ. We avoid removing, inserting or reversing optical elements as is sometimes done [12]. WebSelf-calibrating binary polarization analyzer X. Steve Yao, Xiaojun Chen, and Lianshan Yan Opt.
